Boardrooms for hire in London

All 65 Woolly Mammoth venues in London can be set up as a boardroom, with tables joined into one for your group, and 57 list a screen or a projector. 12 of them already have a large boardroom table for 10 to 24 people: a former courthouse in Clerkenwell, penthouses in Bankside and Fitzrovia, lofts in Shoreditch and Old Street, and a 1920s houseboat at St Katharine Docks. Boardroom hire costs from £480 for a half day (4 hours) and from £950 for a full day, with no booking fee, for board meetings, leadership offsites, investor and client meetings, and interviews.

Each boardroom is booked for your group alone, with no other company in the room or at the next table, and in the lofts, townhouses and penthouses the whole venue is yours. We can have coffee ready when you arrive and lunch brought to the table, so the meeting never has to leave the room.

How to choose a boardroom in London

Which boardroom suits your meeting?

Start with the number of people around the table, plus a seat for whoever takes the minutes. The venues below have a fixed boardroom table; any other venue can be laid out as a boardroom for the same group.

Boardrooms near you in London

Our venues are spread across Central and East London, with the most around Shoreditch and Old Street, close to the City. For the West End, see Soho, Covent Garden and Mayfair; south of the river, London Bridge; and north of the City, Clerkenwell.

Booking a boardroom for a board meeting

  • Count the seats at the table. A venue for 60 standing is not a boardroom for 20: tell us your group size and we check that one table, or joined tables, seat everyone face to face.
  • Test the screen beforehand. Bring your laptop's adapter, or ask us to check the HDMI cable and the video-call camera before the day.
  • Order lunch in. Sandwiches or a hot lunch served at the table keep a board on time. Our guide to corporate catering prices in London gives typical prices per person.
  • Book early for quarter ends. Board weeks cluster at the end of each quarter: see how far in advance to book a meeting room.

A boardroom has one large table that everyone sits around, facing each other, for discussion and decisions. A meeting room can be laid out in rows, in a U or around several tables for a workshop or a presentation. Every one of our venues can be laid out either way; for workshop and presentation layouts, see our meeting rooms in London.

Our 12 fixed boardroom tables seat from 10 to 24 people, and six of them seat 10 to 12, which suits most boards and leadership teams. In the other venues, tables are joined into one for your group. Among the fixed tables, The Designer's Penthouse joins two tables for up to 24, and the main room of The Vault at Grosvenor Place takes 30 in a boardroom layout.

Yes. All 12 venues with a fixed boardroom table have a large TV screen or a projector with a screen, and Wi-Fi, and nine also have a flip chart or a whiteboard. For any other venue, we confirm the screen when you enquire. If some directors join remotely, tell us when you enquire and we check the camera, the sound and the HDMI connection with the venue.

Yes. Many venues have their own coffee machine, among them seven of the 12 with a fixed table, and we arrange breakfast, lunch and refreshments through our partner caterers, served at the table or in a separate area so the papers stay clear. Catering is quoted on request, depending on the menu and the number of people.

Each boardroom is booked for your group only: no other company shares the room, and in the lofts, townhouses and penthouses you have the whole venue. The London Bridge Penthouse has its own private lobby and lift, and The Designer's Penthouse and the 1900s Brewery Cooperage Loft are whole homes behind a single front door.

Our 65 venues cover Central, East and West London, from Shoreditch, Old Street and Clerkenwell to Soho, Covent Garden and Mayfair. Among those with a fixed boardroom table, the closest to the City are the Old Session House and the London Bridge Penthouse; for the West End, the Fitzrovia Penthouse and The October Gallery; next to the Eurostar, The Voyage Rooms.

Every venue books for at least 4 hours, a half day, and some for 6. Prices are set by the hour, from £120 an hour at The Artist's Loft, so a full day costs about twice a half day. Tell us your start and end times when you enquire; there is no fee to ask.
