All our venues for hire in Central London
Woolly Mammoth has 19 venues for hire in Central London, in Soho, Fitzrovia, Mayfair, Marylebone, Covent Garden, Bloomsbury, Holborn, King's Cross, Clerkenwell, Farringdon and Westminster. Most are private penthouses and townhouses, booked for meetings, workshops, conferences and client events. Seating runs from 10 to 160 guests; a half day (4 hours) starts at £480 and a full day at £950. The price is for the whole venue, with no booking fee. Send us your date and headcount: we reply with a shortlist, arrange the viewing and the catering, and stay with you until the day.
Central London is where your clients, your offices and the main train stations already are. A meeting here saves your guests a second journey, and ten of these venues are within about ten minutes' walk of an Elizabeth line station (Tottenham Court Road, Bond Street or Farringdon), the direct line from Heathrow, Paddington, Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf. What you won't find is a hotel function room: one venue was a courthouse, another stored theatre props, a third looks over St James's Park from a turret.

Meeting rooms in Central London
Thirteen of these 19 venues seat 20 people or fewer, the size of most meetings we book in the centre: a board meeting, a client pitch, a strategy half day. Instead of one room on a shared floor, your team gets the whole place, with a kitchen, a sofa for the breaks and often a terrace.
| Team size | Most Popular Venues | Half day from |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 12 | Covent Garden Duplex, Lavish Penthouse Covent Garden, New York-style loft in Clerkenwell, Wilmington Square Studio | £560 |
| 15 to 20 | British Museum Penthouse, Chic & Antique Mayfair Haven, Marylebone Classy Flat, High-rise Penthouse in Clerkenwell, Whitehall Court Penthouse, Chic Urban Haven, The Skyline Luxe Penthouse, Oxford Street Mews House, The Voyage Rooms | £480 |
| 22 to 40 | 1900s Brewery Cooperage Loft, The October Gallery, Fitzrovia Penthouse | £600 |
For a meeting built around a screen, The Voyage Rooms by Euston and The October Gallery in Holborn have audiovisual systems installed, and the Voyage Rooms has staff on site for the set-up. The Fitzrovia Penthouse adds AV and a restaurant on the ground floor of the building for lunch. Compare more rooms on our pages of unusual meeting rooms in London and boardrooms in London, or by district: Soho, Covent Garden, Mayfair and Clerkenwell.

Getting to our Central London venues
Book the Tube or a train, not a car: every venue is in or beside the Congestion Charge zone and parking is rare, though The Symphony Home has an accessible parking space. For a team coming from abroad, The Voyage Rooms is a few minutes' walk from the Eurostar at St Pancras, and the Elizabeth line reaches Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road and Farringdon from Heathrow in 30 to 40 minutes. Each venue page gives the exact address, sent again with your booking.
