Tucked away just off Southwark Bridge Road, London Bridge Playhouse is a beautifully restored former theatre that blends period character with a contemporary, open-plan design. Beyond its discreet courtyard entrance, the space opens into a bright interior filled with natural light, original architectural details, and carefully curated furnishings.

The Playhouse has been thoughtfully designed to feel like a creative home from home, offering a flexible environment ideal for professional photography and video shoots, team workshops, off-site meetings, and intimate events. With a combination of versatile indoor areas and a private courtyard, the space provides a calm, inspiring setting for creative production, collaboration, and connection.

Layouts can be adapted to suit your requirements, including cabaret, theatre, U-shape, or boardroom arrangements. The venue is equipped with two large TV screens (65” and 55”), flipcharts, and a whiteboard, with additional furniture available on request. Catering and refreshments can be arranged through the onsite team or approved external partners.

The Playhouse is fully accessible, offering step-free entry and accessible restrooms throughout. Discounted hourly rates may be available for low-impact shoots or smaller projects, and the team can tailor hire details to meet the specific needs of your production or event.

Access & Capacity
- Access time is the same as the confirmed hire time.
- Maximum total capacity: 100 guests, when including exclusive use of the upstairs meeting room.
Venue Use & Restrictions
- No fixings, nails, tape, or adhesives may be applied to any walls or surfaces.
- Noise must be kept to ambient levels at all times.
- No loud music is permitted within the venue or courtyard.
- The kitchen is available for use, but there is no hob or open-flame cooking permitted.
- No open flames of any kind (including candles) are allowed on site.
- No smoking anywhere on the premises, including the outdoor courtyard and garden.
Food & Drink
- Corkage fee applies for bringing your own alcoholic beverages.
- Self-catering or use of an external caterer is permitted with prior consent from the venue.
Outdoor Spaces
- Use of the outdoor courtyard is allowed with prior consent from the venue team.

- Cancellations submitted up to 7 calendar days prior to the booking start time are eligible for a 100% refund.

- Cancellations submitted within 7 calendar days and 24 hours prior to the booking start time are eligible for a 50% refund.

- Cancellations submitted less than 24 hours prior to the booking start time are non-refundable.

- Refunds to users are only applicable when a cancellation request is submitted through the Woolly Mammoth platform (via our chat space in the specific booking enquiry).
